  • FINALLY! It was much tougher than I thought but I'm really happy I've pulled it off. I've learned a lot along the away. I had to order a lot more parts than the included in the kit (e.g. batteries, camera, goggles) which delayed the build several days. It isn't flying properly yet, although the motors are spinning in the right direction (a common problem for non-flying quads). I'm guessing it has to do with software settings that I'll explore in the next days. But the soldering and build stages are complete! :)

  • Build an FPV racing quadcopter

  • Ordered this kit that included all the parts I was considering for the first version: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B010FMGUS8

  • Order quad parts

  • Watch YouTube videos and read online tutorials to know which parts to order

  • Meet FPV quad racers and see if I like the FPV experience

  • I wasn't able to meet any racer yet, but I'm going to move forward with the build anyway. I'm sure I'll love it

  • Find FPV quad racers in London

  • After sending a few emails to FPV online shops asking where I could meet quad racers in London I was redirected to these two Facebook groups: https://www.facebook.com/groups/londonaerospace/ and https://www.facebook.com/groups/900493643345841/
